On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are usually rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Adam Fox, NYR vs. MIN (100% rostered) - FanDuel $6,300
Following a "down" season in 2024-25, Fox has looked more like his Norris Trophy winning self this season. He is still adapting to playing with Vladislav Gavrikov, which bodes well for even greater success as 2025-26 continues. Fox has already notched three goals and added three assists in seven games with a pair of those points coming on the man-advantage. If the Rangers can re-find their offense, look for Fox to be one of the main cogs from the blue line.
Vince Dunn, SEA @ PHI (86% rostered) - FanDuel $5,900
Dunn entered 2025-26 off two injury-plagued seasons that limited him to 121 games played out of 164 total contests. When active, he is a top-pair blueliner, who also runs the Kraken power play. Dunn has a pair of goals and three assists through the first five contests of the season, which is endemic of his talent level. A return to 50-60 point production is not out of the question.
Noah Dobson, MTL vs. BUF (96% rostered) - FanDuel $5,900
Dobson is not the primary offensive option on the Montreal blueline, that role is handled by Lane Hutson. Despite that status, Dobson still has value, especially on days where there is a light schedule. Dobson notched his first goal Saturday night and has added a pair of assists in six games, which is a pace below last season, when he has his worst production since 2020-21. But on a light night and against the Sabres, Dobson is worth a look.
Alexander Nikishin, CAR @ LV (84% rostered) - FanDuel $3,900
Nikishin has had few issues adapting to the NHL, aided by his cup of coffee last season in the playoffs. Shayne Gostisbehere is still the primary offensive weapon from the blueline but Nikishin is coming quickly. Nikishin has a goal and three assists in his first five regular season contests, adding 13 hits and five blocked shots. His $3,900 price is more than reasonable.
