On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Ivan Demidov, RW, MTL @ NYI (61% rostered) – FanDuel $5,100
Sunday is a matchup of a pair of rookies who should finish 1-2 in the Calder Trophy voting. If it wasn't for Matthew Schaefer, Demidov would be the favorite to win the award. Demidov has posted 18 goals and 43 assists while playing all 80 of the Habs' games to date. Skating on the first unit power play, Demidov has 3:02 of ice time per contest on the man-advantage, notching 19 of his 61 points.
Jack Hughes, C, NJ vs. OTT (99% rostered) – FanDuel $7,900
New Jersey was unable to get back into the playoff hunt but don't blame Hughes. He posted 14 goals and 32 points over his last 17 contests, continuing his performance at the Olympics forward. Hughes' fluke hand injury cost him 18 games and the Devils all their early-season momentum, from which they never recovered. His hot streak has the center up to 27 goals, 75 points, 223 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 59 appearances, in line with his production each of the past two seasons.
Logan Cooley, C, UTAH @ CGY (64% rostered) – FanDuel $5,900
Cooley missed 28 games from December 6 to February 28 due to a lower-body injury, yet Utah was able to remain in the playoff hunt. His return and production after the Olympics break helped the Mammoth clinch a berth. Cooley, who saw his six-game point streak (six goals, five assists) end Saturday, is up up to 41 points over 51 appearances this season due to his hot streak.
