On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Eetu Luostarinen, C/LW, FLA vs. NYR (1% rostered) – DraftKings $3,500
Florida's team resembles a MASH unit with Luostarinen one of the few regulars not on the sidelined. Luostarinen has been occupying a top-line role the past few games, tallying a pair of goals and three assists the past three contests. The Panthers have no reason to rush any player back with the team missing the playoffs, so look for Luostarinen to continue to center the Cats' first line.
Porter Martone, RW, PHI vs. CAR (11% rostered) – DraftKings $5,000
Martone hasn't missed a beat jumping from the Michigan State campus to the Flyers. He notched 50 points (25 goals, 25 assists) in 35 games in his only season for the Spartans, signing with Philly at the end of March. After notching just an assist his first three games, Martone has found his comfort zone. He is riding a four-game point streak, during which he's lit the lamp three times while adding three assists.
Easton Cowan, LW/RW, TOR vs. DAL (2% rostered) – DraftKings $3,600
Toronto may be looking at a larger reset this offseason with questions up and down the lineup. The Maple Leafs will need players on lower AAV contracts to produce to balance out the higher priced "talent" on the roster. Cowan is doing his best to show he can be one of those productive, less expensive players, notching a pair of goals and four assists his last seven games, albeit with a minus-seven rating.
Artemi Panarin, LW, LA @ SEA (98% rostered) – DraftKings $7,700
Los Angeles currently occupies the second Wild Card spot, but their lead is a mere one point. In addition, the Kings still could move into first, second or third in the Pacific Division despite posting just 21 regulation wins. Panarin has been an offensive godsend since arriving in Los Angeles in a Feb. 4 trade, helping the team withstand the loss of Kevin Fiala in the Olympics. Bread has 26 points, including nine goals, in 23 games in LA and has 28 goals, 55 assists and 221 shots in 75 games this season.
