The Sharks have become must watch TV thanks to several of their young stars
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Gabriel Vilardi, WPG @ BUF (71% rostered) - FanDuel $6,100
Vilardi took a massive step forward last season, notching 27 goals and 34 assists in 71 games, substantially exceeding his prior career-best. He has shown through the first third of this season that his 2024-25 performance was no fluke. Vilardi notched two more points Saturday -- the third time in the last five games he hit that mark-- giving him 21 points (11 tallies, 10 helpers) across 24 contests.
Macklin Celebrini, SJ vs. UTAH (99% rostered) - FanDuel $7,700
Celebrini and Connor Bedard, two of the young superstars in the league, seem to be waging their own battle of whatever you can do, I can do better. Bedard notched two goals and two assists, giving the 2023 first overall pick 37 points. Celebrini comes into Monday's contest with the same number of points and 100 total in his 96 games in the NHL. Look for another show from the 2024 first overall pick.
