On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Cody Glass, C/RW, NJ vs. VAN (0% rostered) - DraftKings - $2,800
Glass lit the lamp Sunday, extending his point streak to three games, during which he has notched a pair of markers and as many assists. With Jack Hughes (finger) sidelined, Glass is centering New Jersey's second line next to Ondrej Palat and Connor Brown. Glass' production will be needed until Hughes returns to help supplement Nico Hischier, who has moved up to the first line with Hughes out.
Rutger McGroarty, RW, PIT vs. UTAH (1% rostered) - DraftKings - $2,700
McGroarty, called up to the majors on December 1, finally notched his first goal since his promotion Saturday. An upper-body injury in training camp sidelined McGroarty initially and he notched four goals and three assists in five minor-league games prior to his call up. McGroarty is skating on Pittsburgh's second line with Ben Kindel and Justin Brazeau but is not seeig much power play time.
Christian Dvorak, C, PHI @ CAR (3% rostered) - DraftKings - $3,300
Dvorak, centering the Flyers' first line, has been on fire. The 29-year-old center has never reached 40 points in an NHL season, but over the last 16 games he's posted four goals and 15 points. Dvorak has done all his damage at even-strength, which makes remaining that hot doubtful. But, as long as Dvorak is on the first line, he has value, especially so while he is rolling for Philly.
Elias Lindholm, C/RW, BOS @ MIN (30% rostered) - DraftKings - $4,200
Lindholm scored Thursday for the first time since October 28. Despite not lighting the lamp in 10 contests - as Lindholm missed 10 games with an injury - Lindholm had been productive, dishing out 10 assists in seven appearances. This hot streak has upped Lindholm's season totals to five goals and 15 apples in 22 contests. Lindholm should remain productive while centering the Bruins' top line.
Oliver Kapanen, C, EDM @ MTL (0% rostered) - DraftKings - $4,100
Kapanen entered Saturday's game against the Rangers with three goals in his last five games and a surprising 10 on the season. Centering the Habs' second line between Juraj Slafkovsky and Iavn Demidov, that trio brings speed and youth to the Montreal attack. Kapanen, a second-round pick, 64th overall for the Canadiens, is locked into his role - for the time being - with both Kirby Dach and Alex Newhook out for most, if not all, of the season,
