On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Dylan Cozens, C, OTT vs. CLM (56% rostered) - FanDuel $XX
Cozens, traded last season from Buffalo to Ottawa for Josh Norris, is having a comeback campaign. After posting 68 points in 2022-23, Cozens fell to 47 points each of the past two seasons. Cozens has hit the scoresheet in the three straight contests and is up to 11 goals and 18 assists in 37 appearances while centering the Senators' second line.
Sam Reinhart, C/RW, FLA vs. WSH (99% rostered) - FanDuel $XX
Reinhart extended his point streak to four games Saturday with a helper. That assist gave Reinhart 20 on the season to go along with his 19 goals in 37 contests. Reinhart has notched 14 of his points on the man-advantage, skating just under 21 minutes a game, including four on the power play. His uptick in play following a slow start has aided Florida's move up the standings as the navigate the first half of the season without Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov.
Gabe Vilardi, C/RW, WPG vs. EDM (78% rostered) - FanDuel $XX
Vilardi's production spiked thanks to his trade to the Jets from the Kings in the Pierre-Luc Dubois deal. He posted 36 points in 47 contests in 2023-24 and 61 in 71 contests last season as he was finally healthy. Vilardi is showing those performances were no fluke, benefiting from skating on a line with Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. Since Nov. 21, he has been highly productive with 10 goals and 19 points, which includes six multi-point efforts, over his last 17 games.
David Pastrnak, RW, BOS @ CGY (100% rostered) - FanDuel $XX
Pasta has picked back from where he left off when he was sidelined five games at the end of last month and beginning of December. He lit the lamp again Saturday and has notched four goals and eight assists in nine games since his return. Pastrnak has 15 markers and 26 apples in 34 appearances but he will need to step his production to hit the 100-point mark for the fourth straight campaign.
Mats Zuccarello, RW, MIN @ LV (19% rostered) - FanDuel $XX
Zuccarello played a key role in the Wild's overtime win Saturday, notching the tying goal with 22 seconds remanning in regulation after dishing an assist earlier in the contest. He has four points in as many games since his return to the lineup December 20 after missing five contests with an injury. That absence was his second of the season and Zuccarello is now up to has three goals, 13 assists and 34 shots on net across 19 games.
