On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Juraj Slafkovsky, LW/RW, MTL @ FLA (83% rostered) - DraftKings $4,900
Slafkovsky continued his hot streak Sunday, notching two goals and an assist. He is riding a four-game point streak, earning three multi-point performances and eight points overall (four goals, four helpers) in that stretch. Slafkovsky, taken first overall in 2022, posted 50 and 51 points, respectively, the past two seasons. He is up to 13 tallies and 15 helpers in 38 contests, putting him on pace for a new career-high in points.
Bryan Rust, RW, PIT vs. CAR (80% rostered) - DraftKings $7,200
Rust doesn't get a lot of publicity due to the bigger names on the Pittsburgh. However, those in the know, know how valuable he has been and continues to be for that roster. Rust just produces, that's all, little fanfare, little hype, just a solid option annually in fantasy leagues. He is up to 15 goals, 32 points, 90 shots on net, 37 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 35 appearances this season. Rust has a shot at raising his point total for the third straight season.
Tyler Bertuzzi, LW/RW, CHI vs. NYI (46% rostered) - DraftKings $5,000
No Connor Bedard and no Frank Nazar for the foreseeable future in Chicago due to injuries. Stepping up the last two games, scoring three goals, was Bertuzzi. He endured a six-game pointless streak in December, which makes the 19 tallies and 10 assists he has posted in 35 contests look even more impressive.
