On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Nikolaj Ehlers, LW/RW, CAR @ TOR (85% rostered) - FanDuel $6,000
Ehlers, brought in this offseason to provide Carolina additional offensive punch, got off to a bit of a slow start with just four assists his first 11 games for the 'Canes. He found his stride shortly thereafter, and is having a big March for the team. Ehlers' delivered five goals and 12 points in nine games as he closes in on his third straight 60-point campaign, and first with Carolina. Of the 56 points notched in 68 contests, 20 have come on the man-advantage.
Jesper Bratt, LW/RW, NJ @ WSH (89% rostered) - FanDuel $5,400
Bratt and the Devils are not having the kind of season either wanted, but both are rallying late in the campaign. New Jersey is 7-3-0 in their last 10 contests and still believes they have a shot at the playoffs despite sitting 12 points from the second Wild Card spot with 14 contests remaining, Bratt, who came into the 2024-25 season scoring at least 73 points each of the last four seasons, is at just 54 points in 68 appearances. But, he has three multi-point performances in the last six games, and over 11 contests since the Olympic break he's posted three goals and 13 points, including five helpers on the power play.
Carter Verhaeghe, LW, FLA @ CGY (59% rostered) - FanDuel $5,500
Florida, for the first time in a while, is playing out the string, as the team will fail to make the playoffs. One could argue that the additional time will be beneficial for the 2026-27 campaign, as the Panthers made three straight runs to the Stanley Cut Final, creating additional wear and tear on their bodies. Verhaeghe is one Panther on a roll, with three goals and as many assists in his last five appearances. He has matched his goal - 20 - and sits four assists shy - 29 - of what he posted in 81 games last season with 14 contests remaining.
Troy Terry, RW, ANA @ UTAH (46% rostered) - FanDuel $6,400
When productive forwards from the past five years are discussed, Terry's name is one that likely is not on most people's tongues right away. Maybe because of where he plays or that he is not flashy, but ignore him in fantasy leagues at your own peril. During that stretch, Terry has scored 115 goals and handed out 171 assists for 286 points in 346 games. This season, he is close to a point per game, 48 points in 49 contests, a number that would be even better if he hadn't missed 19 games due to injury.
