Ducks' Carlsson Building Off the Gains He Made Last season

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.

Anthony Cirelli, C, TB @ UTAH (32% rostered) – FanDuel $5,800
Cirelli continues to remain productive centering the Lightning's second line. He notched his second game-winning tally of the season Thursday, upping his overall numbers to has six goals, four assists and 19 shots in 11 games this season. Cirelli is not known for his shot volume; even with that, his shooting percentage will most certainly regress to the mean. He still posted 27 goals and 59 points last season, which is within reach.

Jonathan Drouin, LW/RW, NYI vs. CLM (6% rostered) – FanDuel $4,800
Drouin has produced fairly consistently in his first year on the Island. He has dented the scoresheet in seven of his nine contests, notching one point in each, to give him a goal and six assists. Drouin is skating on new York's second line and first unit power play, aiding his output potential. As long as he remains healthy, a 40-50 point campaign is within reach with the possibility for more.

Trevor Zegras, C/LW, PHI vs. CGY (45% rostered) – FanDuel $5,300
The hope for Zegras was that his return to the East Coast would enable him to find his game. So far, so good. Zegras is on a three-game, seven-point (four goals, three assists) scoring streak that includes two three-point efforts. That performance comes on the heels of Zegras notching a helper in four straight games. Zegras is up to four goals, eight assists and plus-eight rating in 10 games this season.

Philipp Kurashev, C/RW, SJ vs. DET (1% rostered) – FanDuel $4,200
Kurashev fell from 18 goals and 36 assists in 2023-24 to just seven and seven in 54 contests last season. He signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Sharks in July to get a new start. Following a very slow start - just one goal his first sis games - Kurashev is on a massive heater. He tallied a pair of goals, including the overtime winner Saturday, giving him goals in three straight contests, points in four, and seven points overall in that span.

Leo Carlsson, ANA vs. NJ (54% rostered) – FanDuel $6,800
The Ducks opted not to give Carlsson a long-term deal this past off-season. That decision looks very short-sighted as Carlsson is blossoming into a superstar. Carlsson has three goals and six assists during his current five-game point streak. moving his season marks to four and seven in nine contests. Carlsson went from 29 points as a rookie to 45 last season and is likely to make a similar leap or more this season.
