Kiefer Sherwood looks to remain hot while Andre Burakovsky has found his scoring touch.
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Easton Cowan, TOR vs. PIT (3% rostered) – FanDuel $3,500
Cowan notched his first career NHL goal Saturday and is up to three points in his last five games. Toronto is deploying Cowan, selected in the first round, 28 overall, in 2023. Cowan's production will come in starts-and-stops this season but his future value is high. In addition, he is a primary trade chip by Toronto if they look to supplement their roster down the stretch.
Dylan Holloway, C/RW, STL vs. EDM (63% rostered) – FanDuel $5,400
Holloway burst on the scene in 2024-25 with the Blues after signing an offer sheet and then a two-year, $4.58 million contract. He lit the lamp 26 times while adding 37 assists in 77 contests. Holloway got off to a slow start this year with one goal the first six games of the year. He has made up for that, notching a pair of markers and three helpers his last six appearances. Holloway is listed on the third line but is seeing two-plus more minutes of ice time nightly.
Kiefer Sherwood, VAN @ NAS (53% rostered) – FanDuel $4,400
Who had Sherwood with nine goals in 13 games? His pace will slow, though he did tally 19 times and add 21 assists last season. Sherwood is known mainly for his hits, racking up 462 last season after posting 234 the prior campaign. Even with the nine tallies, Sherwood still has dished out 58 hits. as long as he skates on the Canucks' second line, Sherwood should continue to notch points.
Andre Burakovsky, CHI @ SEA (4% rostered) – FanDuel $3,900
Burakovsky has earned five points over his last three games and appears to be heating up while playing on the first line and top power-play unit. He is up to four goals and five assists in 11 games. Burakovsky finished the 2024-25 season strong, registering 13 points in the season’s final 14 games, and has carried that fine play over to this season. Roll with him while he is hot.
