Carolina-Toronto matchup includes Nick Robertson, who has been hot as well
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Ben Kindel, C, PIT vs. LA (8% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,100
Injuries have helped elevate Kindel to Pittsburgh's top line; his fine play since has kept him there. Kindel has a three goals and a pair helpers his last three contests. For the season, the 18-year-old is up to five tallies and those two assists. The 11th pick in this year's draft has exceeded expectations and should remain on the Pens' top line at least until some of the veterans return.
Andrei Svechnikov, LW/RW, CAR @ TOR (48% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,200
Nicholas Robertson, RW, TOR vs. CAR (4% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,500
Svechnikov's production has declined each of the last three seasons. He began 2025-26 looking like his output would decline once again. The last six contests, Svechnikov has looked more like the player that posted 30 goals and 39 helpers in 2021-22. Svechnikov notched a marker and a helper Saturday, upping his mark to four goals and a pair of assists in those six games.
On the other side of the ice with be Robertson, who has gone through his own struggles. Robertson was prominently mentioned in trade rumors this offseason but his relatively low contract enabled him to stick around. He notched just one assist his first seven games, resulting in Robertson being a healthy scratch October 24. Sitting that contest seems to have done the trick, as Robertson has four goals and three assists his last seven appearances while skating on the second line.
Sam Steel, C, DAL vs. SEA (0% rostered) - FanDuel - $3,800
Steel has been a jack-of-all-trades player for the Stars, moving up-and-down the lineup as needed. The Swiss army knife is now the top line left winger next to Wyatt Johnston and Mikko Rantanen with Jamie Benn sidelined. Steel notched the game-winning goal Saturday and has that tally and four assists his last three contests. Utilize him in your lineups while he remains on the top trio.
Mats Zuccarello, LW, MIN vs. CGY (18% rostered) - FanDuel - $4,900
Zuccarello missed the first 15 contests of the season with a lower-body injury, returning to action Friday. He notched an assist in his return, receiving 16:14 of ice time. Zucc has seen his production decline each of the past three seasons, but he still has been a solid winger for the Wild. He is in a prime scoring position, skating on the team's first line alongside Kirill Kaprizov and Marco Rossi.
Conor Garland, RW, VAN vs. COL (35% rostered) - FanDuel - $6,000
Garland missed three games with an injury, returning to action Wednesday. Prior to being sidelined, Garland was scoring at a point-per-game pace, notching three goals and eight assists in 11 contests. The move to Vancouver for the 2021-22 season has been a boon for Garland, as he has notched between 46 and 52 points each of the past four seasons. Garland is a fixture on the Canucks' top line.
