On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Mika Zibanejad, C/RW, NYR vs MIN (74% rostered) - FanDuel $6,000
Zibanejad's solid play to start the season has not shown up on the scoresheet, at least until last night. Despite being the Rangers' most consistent forward, Zibanejad entered Saturday's contest with just one goal and no assists. Zibanejad tallied a goal and assist against the Maple Leafs, showing speed through the neutral zone, which had been lacking for the last two seasons. Look for Zibanejad to build off his solid performance.
Matt Boldy, LW/RW, MIN @ NYR (100% rostered) - FanDuel $7,600
Boldy is off to a phenomenal start, notching four goals and five assists in six games. He was held off the scoresheet for the first time this year Saturday. Boldy's production has risen annually and he is a strong bet to finish 2025-26 as a point-per-game player after tallying 73 points in 82 contests last season. He is making the seven-year, $49 million contract extension he signed with the Wild in January of 2023 look like a bargain.
Mason Marchment, LW, SEA @ PHI (19% rostered) - FanDuel $4,800
Marchment, skating in Seattle's third line, has three assists his last two games. On the season, Marchment is up one goal and three assists in four contests. Traded by Dallas to Seattle this offseason to free up cap room, Marchment is being counted on to provide secondary scoring and veteran leadership. He has an outside chance to get close to his career-high scoring mark (53 points; 2023-24).
Cole Caufield, LW/RW, MTL vs. BUF (99% rostered) - FanDuel $6,600
Caufield's FanDuel price certainly does not appear to be in line with his early-season production compared to others. He notched 65 goals and added 70 assists his last two season, displaying the talent that made him the 15th overall selection in 2019. Caufield is on early pace to far exceed that output, posting five markers and three helpers is six contests so far this season.
Kyle Connor, LW, WPG @ CGY (100% rostered) - FanDuel $7,700
Connor has notched a point in all five contests Winnipeg has played this season. After posting 41 goals and 56 assists last season, Connor entered 2025-26 looking for his first 100-point campaign. Connor has become an elite winger, further evidenced by the eight-year, $96 million contract extension he signed with the Jets earlier this month to prevent him from reaching free agency.
Jack Eichel, C, LV vs. CAR (100% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000
Those who read this column regularly know that Jason and I prefer to highlight less expensive options when we can but when it's a light schedule and a few hot players are in action, go all in on the big boys. Eichel is one of those who deserve to be deployed despite the high price tag. He exploded last season for 94 points, but making that look like nothing. Eichel continues the lead the NHL in points -- he now has 15 in just six games after his second four-point effort of the season Saturday. Of his 10 assists on the season, eight have been on the power play.
