Goalies
Ilya Sorokin, NYI @ CHI (96% rostered) - DraftKings $7,800
David Rittich has stood in brilliant for Sorokin while he was sidelined, so there is a decent possibility Rittich starts Tuesday and the Islanders give Sorokin a few extra days before he is activated. If Sorokin, who has missed a little over week with a lower-body injury, does return, he is a solid option against a slumping Blackhawks' team and Spencer Knight. Prior to being sidelined, Sorokin was 12-10-2 with three shutouts, a 2.55 goals-against average (GAA) and a .910 save percentage across 24 appearances this season.
Samuel Ersson, PHI @ VAN (3% rostered) - DraftKings $7,900
Label this selection a hunch. Ersson has been average in December and overall but so have the Canucks and Thatcher Demko. Philly comes in the contest hanging onto third place in the Metro Division, exceeding expectations. Ersson broke a four-game losing streak in his prior start and has a 2-2-2 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .889 save percentage in seven appearances in December. Like I said, this one is a hunch.
