Dan Vladar, PHI @ TOR (40% rostered) - FanDuel $7,000
Philly is hanging around the fringes of the second Wild Card spot thanks to the play of Vladar in net. Vladar has allowed three goals or fewer in five straight starts, going 2-1-2 over that span with a stellar 2.00 goals-against average (GAA) and .924 save percentage. For the season, Vladar is up to 18-9-6 with a 2.42 GAA and .907 save percentage with all those numbers new career-highs across the board.
Joey Daccord, SEA vs. CAR (64% rostered) - FanDuel $7,600
Like Vladar, Daccord is keeping his team in playoff contention. In this case, Seattle is sitting in the second Wild Card spot as we approach the trade deadline. Daccord has won five of his last six outings, allowing two goals or fewer in each of those victories. For the season, he's up to a 17-13-5 record with a 2.79 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 35 starts, providing slid netminding along with Philipp Grubauer.
Mackenzie Blackwood, COL @ LA (96% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000
Sunday morning, prior to writing this column, going with Blackwood looked like a cinch with Colorado rolling and LA scuffling. The Kings fired coach Jim Hiller that afternoon, which could possibly provide the home team a kick in the rear for this contest. I am still going with Blackwood despite the change behind the bench, influenced by his 17-6-1 record, 2.23 GAA and .916 save percentage across 24 games.
