Ilya Sorokin, NYI vs. SJ (93% rostered) - DraftKings $8,400
Both goalies in this contest are fat from setting the world on fire. I am going with the home netminder who comes in off his first win of the season after beginning the year with a three-game losing streak. Sorokin carried the Islanders last season when scoring was an issue. The team should be better this season, aiding Sorokin's chance to notch 30 wins again.
Thatcher Demko, VAN vs. PIT (88% rostered) - DraftKings $7,800
Demko missed three months in 2024-25 due to a pair of injuries. When in net, Demko went 10-8-3 with a 2.90 goals-against average (GAA) and .889 save percentage over 23 games, a far cry from the numbers he posted the prior season when he won 35 games. Demko is off to a good start, posting a 3-1-0 record, 2.03 GAA and a .922 save percentage.
Juuse Saros, NAS vs. ANA (91% rostered) - DraftKings $8,000
Saros saw his goals-against average rise for the fourth straight season and save percentage fall for the third time in four campaigns in 2024-25. He has looked vastly better this season, going 2-1-2 with a 2.35 GAA and .919 save percentage in five contests. Anaheim is not an easy matchup but Saros should enjoy home cooking in this match up.
Scott Wedgewood, COL @ UTAH (80% rostered) - DraftKings $8,100
Mackenzie Blackwood is inching closer to returning but Wedgewood will be between the pipes again Tuesday. When Blackwood is activated, he may be eased into action and not regain his starting role immediately due to the brilliant play by Wedgewood between the pipes. Wedgewood has a 1.48 GAA and .938 save percentage while going 5-0-1 in his six contests played.
Karel Vejmelka, UTAH vs. COL (74% rostered) - DraftKings $7,300
Vejmelka's price is actually lower than expected even though he is facing the Avalanche. After winning 26 contests last season, Vejmelka is already 3-1-0 with just eight goals allowed on 91 shots. An improved offense provides Vejmelka some wiggle room between the pipes as he has a strong likely at cracking the 30-win barrier for the first time in his career.
