A good portion of the call here is due to who Lindgren is facing,.Pittsburgh is scuffling, going 2-6-2 in their last 10 games, while Washington is 8-2-0 in that same span. Lindgren has been far from elite recently, allowing nine goals over his last three appearances while being tagged with two losses during that stretch. But facing an opponent having their own issues and a team on fire in front of him makes Lindgren worth a look on a light Friday slate of games.
(If you are feeling really lucky and feel like going way outside the box, Alex Lyon might be worth a look. But he has hit the skids his last two appearances, and even though he will be facing a Maple Leafs team possibly without Auston Matthews, I don't think that's the right play).
