With only three games on the schedule, a now healthy Filip Chytil the choice

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games

    Forwards

Filip Chytil, C, NYR vs. NJ (2% rostered)

Chytil returned to action after missing seven games with what was termed an upper-body injury but sure sounds like a concussion, even though that had been ruled out, Health remains a constant concern for Chytil, who has shown he can possibly be a top-six center when on the ice. Coach Peter Laviolette juggled the lines Saturday, skating Chytil between Artemi Panarin and Will Cuylle, which helped New York end their five-game losing streak.

Teuvo Teravainen, LW/RW, CHI @ TOR (16% rostered)

Turbo recorded seven points across his first five appearances this season, but has been struggling in recent weeks. The good news is that Teravainen has dented the scoresheet in three of his last five games, making him worth a look in deeper leagues or when there are few cheaper options on days with a light schedule. Monday is one of those such days.

Barrett Hayton, C, UTAH vs. DAL (7% rostered)

Hayton has been cold this season, but warmed up a bit with three assists his last three games. Prior to this stretch, he had gone scoreless for seven straight contests. Hayton, the fifth overall pick in 2018, had a breakthrough campaign in 2022-23, but a slow start and injuries limited him to 10 points in 33 games last season. He has mildly better this season, and as long as he retains top-six deployment, he is worth a look.

    Defensemen

Zac Jones, NYR vs. NYI (0% rostered)

Jones is one of the few Rangers' blueliners who can exit the zone on his own, which has been a major issue for New York this season. Saturday, he notched his third assist in the last four games, plus Jones is also manning the point on the second power-play unit. Jones is earning coach Peter Laviolette's trust as he has also been solid in his own end irrespective of his defensive pair mate.

Michael Kesselring, D, UTAH vs. DAL (15% rostered)

Kesselring is having a solid first season in Utah, tallying three goals and nine assists his first 24 contests. He has earned three helpers over his last five contests as he has assumed a larger role on the hockey Club's blueline. Mikhail Sergachev is still the top dog on Utah's defense but Kesselring has been a solid 1B skating on the second pair with Ian Cole.
