Jason Chen and Michael Amato discuss how much fantasy value Dougie Hamilton has as the season draws to a close.

The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato answer a listener question:

Dougie Hamilton was placed on LTIR retroactive to Nov. 28 following a torn pectoral injury. He had surgery on Dec. 1 and was slated to miss the next three to four months.

However, during a press conference on March 5, GM Tom Fitzgerald indicated that Hamilton may miss the rest of the season.

The talented power-play quarterback scored 16 points in 20 games prior to his injury and 74 points in 82 games in the prior season.

The Devils have missed him on the blue line, and it's a big reason why their power play has suffered as a result.

Next season, Hamilton will be an excellent sleeper pick since he's likely to be ranked very low due to the lack of games played this season.
