Florida defeated Dallas 6-4 during Friday's game at Nokia Arena in Tampere
The Florida Panthers will be looking for the Finland sweep when they face the Dallas Stars on Saturday in Tampere.
Led by a pair of their Finnish forwards, Florida defeated the Stars 6-4 on Friday at Nokia Arena.
Panthers captain Sasha Barkov led the way with a goal and three assists while Anton Lundell also scored for the Cats, who have now won six consecutive road games – technically they were the visiting team on Friday – and four straight overall.
Sergei Bobrovsky picked up the win between the pipes for Florida on Friday, but with the games coming on consecutive days, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Spencer Knight get the nod on Saturday.
Knight has started three games so far this season, holding a 2-1-0 record to go with a 3.03 goals against average and .898 save percentage.
Here are the Panthers projected lines and pairings for Saturday’s scrum with Dallas in Tampere:
Evan Rodrigues – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart
Carter Verhaeghe – Sam Bennett – Matthew Tkachuk
Eetu Luostarinen – Anton Lundell – Jesper Boqvist
A.J. Greer – Tomas Nosek – Mackie Samoskevich
Gus Forsling – Aaron Ekblad
Niko Mikkola – Dmitry Kulikov
Nate Schmidt – Uvis Balinskis
