    Gameday has finally arrived.

The Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning will hit the ice for Game 1 of their Stanley Cup Playoff series on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

You can check out the Panthers expected forward lines and defensive pairings over at THN Florida’s game preview.

In goal, Florida and Tampa Bay will be going with their star tendies, both of whom have been playing some excellent hockey of late.

Coming back from offseason back surgery, Andrei Vasilevskiy slowly but surely got back to his Vezina-quality form, though perhaps not with the same consistency as in years past, at least not yet.

Vasilevskiy is still more than capable of stealing a game, as he proved in last month’s 47-save effort against Florida. Tampa won 5-3 despite being outshot 50-16.

For Florida, Sergei Bobrovsky just had his best season since signing with the Panthers five years ago. He finished with a 36-17-4 record to go with a 2.37 goals against average and .915 save percentage.

Bob also tied for the NHL lead with six shutouts.

The game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. from Amerant Bank Arena.

It will be televised locally on Bally Sports Florida and nationally on ESPN.
