It's time to celebrate the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Championship

Hard Rock Guitar Hotel lights up to celebrate Panthers Stanley Cup.

Who’s ready to celebrate a Stanley Cup title?!

It’s finally Sunday, which means it’s time to take to Fort Lauderdale and party with the Florida Panthers, South Florida style?

The Panthers and their fans will take over a big chunk of Fort Lauderdale Beach for the team’s Stanley Cup Championship parade.

All the fun will begin at 11 a.m. but anyone attending is encouraged to arrive nice and early to ensure you can find parking and get to a good spot to watch all the fun.

There will be areas to watch the parade in motion up and down A1A.

The route begins at Riomar Street and will travel about a mile south, ending at Southeast Fifth Street.

It’s there that a rally will be held featuring Panthers players, coaches, and of course, the Stanley Cup.

The city of Fort Lauderdale is recommending four parking options but also suggest using public transportation and rideshare services as they are expecting several hundred thousand people to converge on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The four options are:

  • Bonnet House Museum and Gardens, located at 900 North Birch Road
  • Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, located at 3109 East Sunrise Boulevard
  • Galleria Mall, located at 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard
  • The Heron Garage, located at 2050 Eisenhower Boulevard, will offer free transportation on Broward County Transit buses. Services from the garage to Harbor Drive will run from from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the parade and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. afterwards.

If you are planning to attend, make sure to dress accordingly, bring sunscreen and stay hydrated.
