Florida welcomes the Jets to Sunrise on Saturday, kicking off a home and home with Winnipeg
A down-trodden Florida Panthers' captain Aleksander Barkov stood in front of his locker and tried to explain how he wanted to get Thursday night's game out of everyone's head as quickly as possible.
After dropping two straight to the New Jersey Devils, the Panthers welcome the Winnipeg Jets to town on Saturday. They will travel to Winnipeg to face the Jets for a second time Tuesday night.
"That's all I want to think about, tonight's game, and I just want to move on from this," Barkov said. "We know who is coming to town, the best team in the league right now."

Jesper Boqvist scored the first goal for Florida on Thursday. He too would like to get this nightmare out of his head and concentrate on what lies ahead.
"I just want to forget this and move on," Boqvist said.
The Jets come in at 15-2. However, they did lose 4-1 at Tampa Bay Thursday night. Regardless, they will be a formidable opponent for Florida, who has now started a losing streak of their own.
"We've got to be ready, so it starts now," said Barkov. "Obviously we are not happy at all with the last two games, especially tonight's game. We just have to learn from it and move on. We need to be a little better."
Panthers Head Coach Paul Maurice said he wants the players to have a longer memory of Thursday's game. He wants it to be a learning experience for his team.
"You gotta deal with it. We're not gonna just let it go," Maurice said. "But, you don't put any weight on it that it should not carry. You're not gonna love them all."
