Matthew Tkachuk is having one heck of a summer.
Over the past five weeks, the star forward for the Florida Panthers has won his second consecutive Stanley Cup, participated in a championship parade along Fort Lauderdale Beach and had a blast at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, but that was just the beginning.
Last weekend, Tkachuk tied the knot with his longtime love Ellie Connell, and footage from the reception that followed has since gone viral on social media.
One video in particular shows Tkachuk’s father Keith being lifted off the dance floor while sitting in a chair with Chappel Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” playing in the background.
Among those lifting the elder Tkachuk in the air was his younger son Brady, who also happened to be topless.
As if all the wedding fun and festivities weren’t enough, Tkachuk followed that up with his special day with the Stanley Cup on Monday.
Among the stops in his hometown of St. Louis were the Brentwood police and fire departments and, of course, the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Like last summer, the children’s hospital was his first stop.
While at the police station, Tkachuk was photographed lifting the Stanley Cup while inside a jail cell.
He also said he planned to bring the Cup to his favorite local hangout, OB Clark’s, before hosting a big party on Monday night.
