The Florida Panthers are growing in popularity.

Winning the Stanley Cup will do that for a franchise.

One of the big celebrities that was spotted at last summer’s Stanley Cup Final was actress and singer Ariana Grande.

The South Florida native has been on the Cats’ bandwagon since she was a child.

Grande sang the National Anthem before a Panthers game when she was only 8 years old, and a photo of 5-year-old Ariana riding the Zamboni is pretty easy to find, as is the story behind how she got there.

Currently, Grande is one of the biggest stars out there.

While doing press ahead of The Oscars, Grande was apparently asked about the contents of her purse.

One of the items she pulled out was a selenite wand, which she said brought her protection.

What was special about this wand? Well, not only did Grande keep it with her in Glinda’s dressing room, but she also brought it with her to the Stanley Cup Final for good luck.

“I brought it to the Panthers game in Florida when I went to visit my family, and we won, and I think it was because of this” she said while holding up the wand, before adding. “Go Panthers.”

Perhaps if the Panthers players get wind of this, they can implement a wand into their postgame victory celebrations.
