One of the top prospects in the Florida Panthers pipeline is receiving some due credit.

University of Denver defenseman Jack Devine has been named a top ten finalist for the 2025 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, which annually recognizes the top player in college hockey.

It's the second year in a row that Devine has been named one of the 10 finalists.

Selected by Florida in the 7th Round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Devine has become a standout blueliner during his time with the Pioneers.

So far this season, Devine has 13 goals and 54 points through 39 games for the University of Denver. Not a bad follow-up from his 27-goal, 56-point campaign during the 23-24 campaign.

The 54 points lead all Division I hockey players in scoring, and his 41 assists are tops in the nation as well.

Three finalists for the award will be revealed on April 3.

The winner will be announced during a ceremony at the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis on April 11, the night before the NCAA Championship game is set to be played at Enterprise Center.
