    Panthers training camp will be open to the public and free to attend, but there will be limited space

    The Florida Panthers released the team’s 59-man training camp roster on Tuesday night.

    Camp is set to begin on Thursday morning at the Ice Den in Coral Springs and will be free and open to the public, in a limited capacity. 

    Florida's roster consists of 33 forwards, 20 defensemen and six goalies.

    Many of the young Panthers prospects who took part in the 2023 Southeast Rookie Showcase will be there for when NHL camp opens.

    Also on Florida’s roster is Brett Ritchie, who was signed to a Professional Try Out (PTO) for training camp.

    For the first five days of training camp, the roster will be split into two teams.

    The schedule is as follows:

    Thursday, Sept. 21:

    Red Team practice 9 a.m.

    Blue Team practice 12 p.m.

    Friday, Sept. 22:

    Blue Team practice 9 a.m.

    Red Team practice 12 p.m.

    Saturday, Sept. 23:

    Red Team practice 9 a.m.

    Blue Team practice 12 p.m.

    Sunday, Sept. 24:

    Blue Team practice 9 a.m.

    Red Team practice 12 p.m.

    Monday the Panthers will host the Nashville Predators for a preseason doubleheader at Amerant Bank Arena. The puck drops on Game 1 at 2 p.m. while Game 2 begins at 6 p.m.
