The Florida Panthers made some impressive team history this summer.

No, we’re not talking about the Cats winning the first Stanley Cup in the franchises existence…although that was pretty spectacular and an unrivaled event.

On Monday, the Panthers announced that for the first time ever, the team had completely sold out of season tickets.

“After a historic and exciting Championship season, we are thrilled to announce that our season tickets for the 2024-25 season are sold out thanks to our loyal and passionate South Florida fanbase,” Panthers Chief Revenue Officer Shawn Thornton said in a statement released by the team.

Florida averaged 13,112 fans per game during the 2021-22 season, which was the year that immediately followed the COVID shortened season.

The following year, in 2022-23, the Panthers average home attendance rose to 15,827.

Last season that number went all the way up to 18,632, which represents 96.8% capacity at Amerant Bank Arena. The Panthers sold out all of their lower-level season tickets in 2023-24, and following their Stanley Cup victory in June, all the remaining seats are now gone.

“The energy and atmosphere of Amerant Bank Arena will continue to be electric this year and we can’t wait to deliver exceptional experiences for our members,” Thornton said.

Florida’s first game in front of a sold-out season ticket crowd will come Tuesday night when they raise their 2024 Stanley Cup Champions banner to the rafters in Sunrise.

The vibes will surely be immaculate.
