Matthew Tkachuk fashion sense receives high praise in latest NHL Style Rankings
Florida Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk has turned quite a few heads for some of the things he can do on the ice.
Last season, his first with the Panthers, Tkachuk was a finalist for the Hart Trophy while earning a reputation as one of the NHL's top clutch performers and playoff contributors.
Now, in what has been an interesting development, he is gaining attention for something he's been doing off the ice.
More specifically, for how he's looked.
Tkachuk was among the top picks on the latest edition of Sara Civian’s NHL Style Rankings for Bleacher Report.
While the list is supposed to be a collection of the best dressed players from across the entire NHL, this month’s edition featured several players from the Atlantic Division.
Clearly, there is a high bar for more than just talent in the Atlantic.
Tkachuk came in fourth on the list, with Toronto’s William Nylander, Ottawa’s Mathieu Joseph and Boston’s David Pastrnak rounding out the rest of the top quadrant.

Interestingly, while the majority of the top ten received some kind of commentary from Civian for their fashion sense, Tkachuk’s dapper look required only a two-word descriptor.
“Assignment: Understood.”
