Matthew Tkachuk featured in NHL's latest 'Next Golden Era is Now' commercial
The new "Tricky" spot is the third so far in the NHL's "The Next Golden Era is Now" campaign
If you're a fan of Matthew Tkachuk and hockey commercials, get ready for some good news.
This season, the NHL has put out a fun and entertaining new branding campaign called "The Next Golden Era is Now."
You've probably seen the first two spots that have dropped.
The first one was called "Gen Z" and featured such starts as Connor McDavid, Nick Suzuki, Jack Eichel and Sidney Crosby.
Then late last year the league dropped its "Tipping" spot, which was both brilliant and humorous, featuring goaltenders Jeremy Swayman, Pekka Rinne, Jacob Markstrom and Jake Oettinger.
Now the league is dropping its latest in the campaign, called "Tricky."
It shows several NHL stars scoring some very fancy, highlight reel-type goas.
The first player shown is Tkachuk before it cuts to Game 4 of the 2023 First Round series against the Boston Bruins when he scored a goal with his stick angled between his legs.
Also featured in the ad are David Pastrnak, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Filip Forsberg, Jordan Kyrou and Mark Messier.
Run DMC's hit song "Tricky" plays in the background throughout the entire spot.
