It's win or go home time for the Florida Panthers.

The Panthers are set to face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 on May 18. If the Panthers win, they will advance to the Eastern Conference Final for the third year in a row. A loss, on the other hand, will end the Panthers' post-season and their push for their second consecutive Stanley Cup.

This should be a great matchup, as both teams have plenty of elite talent. If the Panthers hope to secure a victory in Game 7, they will need their entire lineup to be on their A-game, and that absolutely includes Matthew Tkachuk.

Tkachuk is one of the Panthers' top stars, and they are undoubtedly tougher to go up against when the 6-foot-2 forward is playing at his highest level. While speaking to reporters, including NHL.com's Jameson Olive, the 2016 first-round pick made it clear that he is amped up for Game 7 and is ready to give it all on the ice.

"It's what you dream about," Tkachuk said. "If you're going to play tentative, you probably don't belong in these games."

It is hard to disagree with Tkachuk's take here, as it is do-or-die time for both the Panthers and the Maple Leafs. Thus, both teams are going to be playing their hardest as they look to avoid elimination. 

It is going to be interesting to see if Tkachuk can have a big Game 7 and lead the Panthers to a victory against Toronto. In 11 post-season games this year for Florida, he has three goals, nine points, and a plus-2 rating.
