Matthew Tkachuk is heading back to The White House.
Pretty soon they’re going to regard him as a regular guest.
Tkachuk and some of his Team USA Men’s Hockey teammates will meet with President Donald Trump in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
This was confirmed by Tkachuk on Monday, as the team arrived back in the United States following their gold medal victory over Team Canada on Sunday at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
Thanks to a massive winter storm impacting much of the northeast, Team USA landed in South Florida, arriving at Miami International Airport to much fanfare on Monday afternoon.
While some of the members of the U.S. team will be heading back to their respective teams – the NHL schedule resumes on Wednesday – others will stick around in South Florida for some celebrating before heading up to D.C.
Tkachuk and the Panthers resume their season on Thursday when Florida hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He did not say whether his brother Brady would be joining the trip to Washington, but similarly, the next game for Brady's Ottawa Senators is on Thursday when they host the Detroit Red Wings.
This will be the third time in less than 14 months that Tkachuk will visit with Trump at the White House.
The Panthers first stopped by in January of 2025 following their first Stanley Cup victory the previous June, then were welcomed back again last month to celebrate their second championship win.
