A new setup of Florida Panthers gear from the Stanley Cup Final is on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame

Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk speaks after Florida's 4-1 win over Edmonton on June 11.

Some new championship gear has made its way to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

As THN Florida reported last week, a trove of memorabilia that members of the Florida Panthers used during their incredible victory in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final has been sent by the team up to the biggest hockey shrine in the world.

Included in the collection are jerseys worn by Aaron Ekblad and Sergei Bobrovsky, sticks used by Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennett, Gus Forsling and Vladimir Tarasenko, gloves worn by Sasha Barkov, Tkachuk and Bobrovsky and skates belonging to Barkov and Anton Lundell.

This week, the HHOF started displaying some of that Panthers swag.

In photos shared by 5 Reasons Sports’ Alex Baumgartner, a brand-new display was created at the Hockey Hall of Fame featuring much of the gear sent up by the team.

There is one item in particular that seems to be getting a bit more attention than the others despite being the smallest thing in the display.

It’s Tkachuk’s gnarled, chewed up mouthpiece.

Florida’s superstar forward has become known for playing with a mouthpiece halfway hanging out of of his mouth while he chews on the other side of it.

Interestingly, Tkachuk has said he only goes through around a handful a season, so he either isn’t biting down too hard or they are using incredibly strong materials on mouthpieces these days.

Either way, the one he used during the Stanley Cup Final, along with some other very cool pieces of gear belonging to Tkachuk and his teammates, is now on display inside the Hockey Hall of Fame.

If there was ever a time for a Florida Panthers fan to plan a trip to the HHOF, sometime in the next year might be a good idea, as the Cup champs will be celebrated throughout their reign.
