Florida Panthers Night at the ballpark in Little Havana will take place on Sept. 6

One of the Florida Panthers’ South Florida sports neighbors is hosting the Cats for a special night under the lights.

The Miami Marlins announced last week that they would be holding a Florida Panthers Night ahead of the start of the 2023-24 NHL season.

Panthers Night at loanDepot park will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 6 when the Marlins host the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Both the Marlins and Panthers played their inaugural seasons in 1993, and the Marlins first ever game was against – you guessed it – the Dodgers.

According to the Marlins, the night will include Panthers player appearances and an in-game takeover by Stanley C. Panther and Viktor E. Ratt.

A special ticket package offered for the night includes a game ticket and a limited-edition Marlins and Panthers 1993 t-shirt that looks pretty darn cool and can be seen below:

A portion of the proceeds from the special ticket packages will benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation.
