Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk to become an uncle!

Brady Tkachuk, brother of Matthew Tkachuk announced on Instagram today that he has a baby boy coming in September 2024

Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk and of course brother of Panthers leading scorer Matthew Tkachuk announced on Instagram today that his wife Emma is expecting a baby boy in September 2024.

Despite being two years younger than Matthew, Brady is the first Tkachuk expecting a child and this kid will already have a head start when it comes to hockey genetics!

Their father Keith Tkachuk had a borderline hall of fame career in the NHL. “Big Walt” played 20 seasons in the league and was a 5-time all-star with 1065 career points. Both Matthew and Brady have followed in his footsteps, each making multiple all-star appearances in their own right. So the future son of Brady and nephew of Matthew, niece of Taryn and grandson of Keith has already won the genetic lottery.

Congratulations to the Tkachuk family! The Panthers community and NHL community as a whole cannot wait to see what Uncle Matthew Tkachuk looks like.
