Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen exited the Atlantic Division club's Game 5 matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes in the first period due to a suspected injury.

The Panthers then announced during the second period that Luostarinen would be out for the remainder of the contest.

Luostarinen was noticeably shaken up after attempting to throw a hit on Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall. The Panthers forward missed the Hall on the check and instead crashed into the boards. From there, Luostarinen struggled to stay on his feet while skating to the Panthers' bench.

Luostarinen has been fantastic for the Panthers this post-season, so it would be a massive blow if he needs to miss time after exiting Game 5. In 16 playoff games this spring with Florida, the 6-foot-3 forward has four goals, 13 points, and a plus-12 rating.
