Several of Florida's pending free agents include the Staal brothers, Colin White, Radko Gudas and Lucas Carlsson

The Florida Panthers have made qualifying offers to several of the team’s restricted free agents.

Free agency opens for the new league year on Saturday, July 1.

On Friday, the eve of the new league year launching, the Panthers announced they offers out to several players.

Restricted free agents Grigori Denisenko, Aleksi Heponiemi, Logan Hutsko and John Ludvig have all been offered qualifying offers, the team confirmed Wednesday.

They represent Florida’s only four players who were restricted free agents, with Ludvig a 10,2 RFA, which, due to the amount of pro games he has played, it makes him ineligible for normal RFA status, though he still received a qualifying offer with the other RFAs.

If you’re wondering which players are Florida’s unrestricted free agents, you’ve come to the right place.

The Panthers NHL-level and minor league UFAs are Eric and Marc Staal, Colin White, Radko Gudas, Lucal Carlsson, Casey Fitzgerald, Alex Lyon, Evan Fitzpatrick, Henry Bowlby, Connor Bunnaman, Gerald Mayhew, Serron Noel, Anthony Bitetto, Max Gildon, and goaltender Jean-Francios Berube.

They are all expected to explore the free agent marketplace, which opens Saturday at noon, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a return to Florida is completely off the table.

We’ll see how things play out on Saturday.
