Florida has won two of the three games they've played so far on their west coast roadie

The Florida Panthers are heading back home, but making a quick stop in Las Vegas along the way.

After picking up a resounding SCORE victory on Saturday night in San Jose, the Panthers will wrap up their four-game road trip against their old friends, the Vegas Golden Knights.

Entering play Sunday, Vegas sits just one point behind the Edmonton Oilers for first place in the Pacific Division.

The Golden Knights are one of the league’s best teams on home ice, as their 18 wins at T-Mobile Arena are the second-most home wins in the NHL.

Lately, they’ve been trying to get things back on track, as it’s been a rough couple weeks in the desert.

Vegas is currently riding a 2-6-1 stretch, and while they are playing at home on Sunday against Florida, it’s their third game in four nights after playing a road back-to-back in St. Louis and Dallas.

The Panthers, meanwhile, may be playing on the second night of a back-to-back, they came into the set after having two days off, and overall Florida has a strong 5-2-0 record on the night two of back-to-backers.

It should be a good tilt against the 2023 Stanley Cup Finalists.

Here are the Panthers projected lines and pairings for Sunday’s visit to Vegas:

Matthew Tkachuk – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart

Eetu Luostarinen – Sam Bennett – Mackie Samoskevich

Carter Verhaeghe – Anton Lundell – Jesper Boqvist

A.J. Greer – Tomas Nosek – Evan Rodrigues

    Gus Forsling – Aaron Ekblad

    Niko Mikkola – Dmitry Kulikov

    Tony Bjornfot – Nate Schmidt

Scratches: Uvis Balinskis, Jonah Gadjovich, Adam Boqvist
