During Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers, Sam Reinhart had a big night and scored four goals to lead the Cats to their second consecutive Stanley Cup. With this, he ended the Stanley Cup Final with seven goals alone and helped the Panthers make NHL history because of it.

According to NHL Public Relations, the Panthers are now just the second team in the history of the NHL to have three players score at least five goals in one Stanley Cup Final.

The other two Panthers who have scored five goals this series against the Oilers are Brad Marchand and Sam Bennett.

After being held off the scoresheet in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final, Reinhart ended the series on fire. In his last four games of the series, he recorded seven goals and eight points. Needless to say, the 29-year-old stepped up big time this series, and he saved his best performance for last in Game 6.
