Kulikov brought the Stanley Cup to the Panthers' practice facility for some face time with youth hockey players
The Stanley Cup is back in South Florida.
After crossing North America and spending some time in Finland and Sweden, the Cup has returned to Broward County.
Ryan Lomberg had some fun in the sun with the Stanely Cup, a day that including taking it golfing with major champion (and huge Panthers fan) Brooks Koepka.
Lomberg also enjoyed some time at home with the Cup and some friends and family.
The Panthers fan favorite will soon make the move from South Florida to Calgary after signing a two-year, $4 million deal with the Flames.
After Lomberg took his turn with the Cup, it was Cats defenseman Dmitry Kulikov’s turn.
Kulikov brough the historic trophy to the Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale, where youth and Junior Panthers teams were practicing.

“It's unbelievable to see so many young hockey players, giving them the chance to see the Cup, and hopefully inspire them to work hard and strive for your dreams,” Kulikov said. “This is truly special for me, and I wanted to do that because I how much it would mean for me as a young hockey player, not only to see a professional hockey player, but to get the chance to see the Cup, it's 100 times more special.”
