The Hockey News will now bring you daily, in-depth coverage of the NHL's Florida Panthers
Welcome to the brand-new Florida Panthers vertical of legendary hockey publication The Hockey News!
Indeed, it’s an exciting time to be a Panthers fan.
The Hockey News has been the prominent name in hockey coverage since it was founded in 1947 and now its branching out in order to have in-depth, focused attention on each of the league’s 32 teams.
Here at the THN Panthers site, we’ll shine the spotlight on anything and everything to do with the Florida Panthers.
This is what we'll do: Simply put, we’ll be offering daily coverage of the Panthers.
That means inside access to games, practices, press conferences and everything in-between, hearing regularly from players and coaches with analysis and opinion mixed in from yours truly.
Who am I?
I am David Dwork, a South Florida native and hockey junkie who has watched and played the sport since I was a child.
My only time spent living out of SoFla was the three seasons I braved the north and played goaltender for teams in Junior A, Junior B and Junior C leagues.
I am also a trained and seasoned journalist who has spent countless hours at sports games and practices, inside locker rooms, at press conferences and working in newsrooms.
What that means for you is a place to get complete, well-rounded hockey coverage of the NHL’s southernmost team.
The only thing you need to do is come back! Bookmark this page and if you don’t already, follow me on Twitter @DavidDwork because I’ll be sending out links to everything that gets posted on THN's new Panthers site.
