The NHL season is getting closer by the day.

This week on The Hockey Show, co-hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork welcomed longtime broadcaster Bob Wischusen.

They asked Bob about the travel of covering playoff hockey every night and how he’s able to keep his teams, players and stats straight when covering so many things at once.

Bob also gave his top five moments that he’s been on the mic for, and THS producer Ethan Budowsky made up his top five broadcasters that he would like to have a beer with and presented them to Bob.

This week’s wins and fails of the week included an extremely odd take on the Buffalo Sabres’ goat head logo, an awesome moment for the Americans at the 2025 Gretzky Hlinka Cup, and an excellent decision by the Detroit Red Wings with their center ice logo for the upcoming season.

Roy and Dave also gave some love to the Red Wings for their excellent, through perhaps a bit late, decision to retire Sergei Fedorov’s No. 91.
