Extreme physicality and fierce competition was the name of the game at Day 4 of Panthers Development Camp.

I’m not talking about what was happening on the ice, though.

On Thursday, you see, the Panthers prospects played dodgeball.

“We're going to go play a dodgeball tournament here and the boys already kind of talking about it and getting fired up,” said goaltender Cooper Black. “We'll see what happens there. Hopefully we can take a W.”

It was the latest group activity in a week where the Panthers have taken their camp attendees to a sushi-making class and a Blink 182 concert.

“It's a lot of fun,” said Panthers 2022 seventh-round pick Liam Arnsby. “It's easier to get to know each other when we're doing some activities.”

The players took part in the fun dodgeball tournament inside the gym of North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek on Thursday afternoon.
