Sam Reinhart has made it quite clear that he enjoys living in South Florida and wants to stay there.

Reinhart has been under the spotlight for much of this season, thanks to the combination of his expiring contract and the 60 goals he’s scored this year, including the playoffs.

On Friday, Reinhart made an appearance on The Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz, and as you can probably imagine, the chat touched on a wide range of topics.

During the interview, Reinhart is asked about Florida’s first round victory over Tampa Bay and how much he must hate the Lightning, the humor among his teammates in the locker room, and how the team has played under Head Coach Paul Maurice.

Reinhart also discussed the culture that has been built in and around the Panthers, which has created one of the hardest working and chemistry filled rooms in the league.

LeBatard wanted to know if the Panthers success over the past few years had made Reinhart more famous when he’s out and about in South Florida.

“It’s honestly the best of both worlds,” Reinhart said. “You’re pretty anonymous for the most part. There’s a fair amount of perks, especially around playoff time. You see the excitement and buzz around.”
