Several of Florida's top forwards have been putting up some big scoring numbers lately
A quick post to acknowledge some impressive and remarkable simultaneous scoring runs that a handful of Florida Panthers players are currently enjoying.
Entering Thursday’s game in Los Angeles, the Panthers have been rolling, and its thanks in large part to the team getting production from up and down the lineup.
Florida’s depth is going to be a key asset as the Cats look to repeat as Eastern Conference Champions and then finish the job in the Stanley Cup Final.
While the team has been performing well as a unit, there are a handful of guys who have really been rolling lately.

All-Star forward Matthew Tkachuk is currently riding a seven-game points streak, with 2 goals and 10 points during the run.
Sam Reinhart, who is on pace to shatter his previous career best scoring numbers, has gone five straight games with at least two points.
Panthers captain Sasha Barkov recently had a four-game points streak snapped, but picked right up where he left off in San Jose with a goal and an assist. Over his past six games Barkov now has 4 goals and 8 points.
Carter Verhaeghe is heating up as well. He’s logged 3 goals and 5 points over a three-game points streak, while also accumulating 4 goals and 8 points over past six outings.
It isn’t only Florida’s forwards who have been riding a wave of consistent scoring.
Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson has a goal and 3 points in his past two games, but he’s also put up 3 goals and 7 points during his past six games.
Long story short, the Panthers are getting consistent contributions from across the lineup, a lineup that may be about to get a big boost.
Injured blueliners Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour have missed all season while recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Florida Head Coach Paul Maurice has indicated that both could return during the team’s current trip that ends Friday in Anaheim.
Considering how the Panthers have been playing of late, adding a pair high-end blueliners could really help turn things into high gear for Florida.
