The Los Angeles Kings will need to decide on who will be their goalie next season very soon.

Currently, all three of their goalies are pending UFAs, which gives the team a chance to make some big changes to the crease for next season.

That leaves Cam Talbot potentially hitting the open market on July 1. Talbot will have a few teams inquiring about his services if he does test the open market, so let's look at a few teams that could be a good suitor for him.

    Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins had some serious goaltending challenges this season. Tristan Jarry lost the starting role to Alex Nedeljkovic, which leaves the door open for the potential of a new goalie tandem next season. The Penguins' GM, Kyle Dubas, would be smart to inquire about Talbot joining the team to help the club get one more chance at winning the Cup.

Talbot could be drawn to the Penguins by the opportunity to play alongside Sidney Crosby and might be willing to take a bit less money to have a chance to win.

    Washington Capitals:

The Washington Capitals are another team in a similar situation as the Penguins. They had goaltending issues this season, which may mean it is time for a change. Darcy Kuemper may be a buy-out or trade victim, which would mean the Capitals would need a backup goalie behind Charlie Lindgren.

Talbot could fit that role; at his age, he may be willing to accept that he may not get as many starting goalie offers as he once did. With the Capitals, he would likely get the chance to be a part of a 1A/1B tandem with Lindgren.

    Los Angeles Kings:

Lastly, the aforementioned Kings. Depending on what happens with them this offseason, there could be a chance that Talbot returns. In his post-season press conference, he told the media that he would like to return to the Kings next season.

He likely would be the backup in Los Angeles as well, especially since they are searching for a starter this summer. Talbot has the experience to be a reliable backup in an organization that he is familiar with.
