The Los Angeles Kings have added some depth to their forward corps by signing LW Erik Haula to a two-year deal.
The Los Angeles Kings have made their first signing of free agency, they have agreed to terms with Erik Haula on a two-year deal with an AAV of $3.6M ($7.2M total).
Haula, 35, is coming off a fairly successful season in Nashville where he played his role as a depth forward nicely for the Predators. In 81 games, the Finnish forward scored 14 goals, and 24 assists for 38 points.
Los Angeles will be Haula's 8th team in his NHL career as he enters his 14th season as a pro. In 840 career games, the former 7th round pick has scored 167 goals to go with 208 points for 375 total points.
The Kings pick up some much needed secondary scoring help as Haula should be expected to slot in somewhere in the team's middle six. The veteran forward is also capable of providing some help at center.
