Dubois Opens Up About His Time with the Los Angeles Kings

Pierre-Luc Dubois recently opened up about his time with the Los Angeles Kings and how it didn't end the way he wanted.

"It's obviously my fault it didn't work... I didn't feel at home."

It is no surprise that it didn't go well in LA, and the front office didn't hesitate moving on from him in the off-season.

There was also a report by Elliotte Friedman that GM Rob Blake went on the ice in full equipment to help Dubois learn to battle for the puck harder.

It just seemed right from the trade was made, the fit between the two sides felt off.

Dubois was expected to step into the lineup and take some pressure off of Anže Kopitar. Unforunaltey, that didn't happen, Dubois was only able to score 16 goals, 24 assists for 40 points in 82 games.

Due to his lack of offensive production, it gave Quinton Byfield a chance to show what he can do at the NHL level, and the Kings never looked back.

Dubois' time in Los Angeles ended abruptly, and now he'll have to re-invent himself with the Washington Capitals.
