The Los Angeles Kings head into Philadelphia for their third game of a four-game road trip to take on the Flyers on Saturday evening.
The Kings will face a few familiar faces on the other side, with Sean Walker and Cal Petersen expected to play.
Walker's been a mainstay on Philadelphia's blue line, averaging just over 20 minutes a night playing on their second pair.
Petersen started the season in the AHL, but after Carter Hart's recent injury, he's up with the NHL squad now. After Sam Ersson started Friday for Philadelphia, I expect Petersen in net Saturday.
Despite being penciled in as a basement dweller again this season, the Flyers have started with a solid 5-5-1 record.
Travis Konecny has led the way with 12 points in 11 games for them, while Travis Sanheim has stepped up as their number-one defenseman with 10 points in 11 games.
The Kings are coming into Philadelphia with a perfect 5-0-0 record on the road this season and will be confident in securing another win.
Is this the game Adrian Kempe finds his scoring touch? Or, maybe the game that Quinton Byfield finds his, either way, the Kings aren't struggling for goals right now as they sit second in the league for goals per game.
There are no lineup changes expected in Philadelphia for the Kings.
