The Los Angeles Kings are looking to extend their record-breaking, road-winning streak on Long Island on Saturday, as they take on the New York Islanders.

The Kings are coming off a dominant performance in Montreal, winning 4-0 to set a new NHL record for consecutive road wins to start a season.

They were led by Quinton Byfield's two goals and one assist, while Anze Kopitar and Trevor Moore both extended their season-opening road point streak to 11 games.

The Islanders are getting big contributions from the top of their lineup, with Matthew Barzal, Bo Horvat and Noah Dobson all starting the season hot.

This has placed them third in the Metropolitan division. They also lead the league with seven overtime losses.

Ilya Sorokin is expected in net for the Islanders per THN's Stefan Rosner.

For the Kings, Cam Talbot was first off at morning skater per Zach Dooley, meaning he'll get the nod against the Islanders.

With Blake Lizotte back in the lineup, there are no changes expected from Todd McLellan on Saturday.
