The Los Angeles Kings are red hot, riding a five-game winning streak after defeating the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday.

Standing in their way are the Pittsburgh Penguins who are 2-0 on their California trip.

This will also be Pheonix Copley's first start in seven games after he was pulled last time out against the Arizona Coyotes.

Overall, the Penguins have been just okay this season, while the Kings have announced themselves as one of the league's premier teams early this season.

This will be the Kings' second game in as many nights though which will present an extra layer of difficulty.

Outside of the change in net, there aren't any expected changes for the Kings.
